DOHA: Medicare Group posted a 22 percent growth in it’s net operational profits for the nine month period ended September 30, 2012, compared with the same period last year. Net operational profits recorded approximately QR38.5m during the period this year against QR31.6m last year.
This was reflected in the earnings per share which yielded QR1.37 per share compared to QR1.12 for the same period last year.
The Board of Directors has accepted the resignation request of Sheikh Thani bin Abdulla Al Thani from his Chairmanship and membership of the Board. After further deliberations, the Board nominated Sheikh Abdulla bin Thani Al Thani to chair the Board replacing Sheikh Thani bin Abdulla Al Thani.
