Sonja Park, the first Steinway soloist in the Middle East
Doha: The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO) will be performing Mozart's "Piano Concertos" on Friday at the Hamilton school in Doha. This musical composition is No. 20 by the late Austrian Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The orchestra's conductor Andreas Weiser and Sonja Park, the first Steinway soloist in the Middle East, will play "Piano Concertos", perfectly combined with the Symphony No. five of the famous late Russian musician Tchaikovsky, to show how great Tchaikovsky was in the Romantic era.
As the first of six amazing concertos composed between 1785 and 1786, "Piano Concertos" represents Mozart's most stormy music in terms of musical expression, which is considered the Classical to Romantic eras' highest musical level and similar to Beethoven's as critics of the XIX century described it.
The Austrian composer Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria, and is considered one of the most famous creative geniuses in the history of music, although his life was short, he died at the age of 35, having managed to produce 626 musical works.
