Doha: Sidra Medicine will accept only debit and credit card payment starting next month.
The step has been taken to ensure faster and safer transaction tweeted Sidra Medicine.
"From August 1, 2020, Sidra Medicine will accept only debit or credit cards as payment for services. Cashless transactions are quicker and will significantly reduce your waiting time at registration. On account of COVID-19, a cashless transaction will also ensure in keeping you safe," said the statement on its website.
Both local and international credit/debit cards will be accepted and will serve as the primary payment method for all services at Sidra Medicine. It added that the services will also include payment at retail pharmacy locations, food and nutrition services from the cafeteria and the cafes, and the gift store.
