DOHA: Al Rayyan clinched a thrilling 3-2 win over Eljaish in the Emir Cup volleyball tournament at Al Arabi Sports Stadium, yesterday.
Al Rayyan won 25-22, 22-25, 25-15, 16-25, 15-13.
Al Rayyan took the first set lead but Eljaish battled back to level the score-line at one-all.
Eljaish found themselves 2-1 behind but after levelling the scoreline, went down in a closely-fought set in the decider yesterday.
Elsewhere in another match played yesterday, Police Club enjoyed a comfortable win against Al Gharafa yesterday.
Police Club won 3-0 in what was an easy victory.
The winners posted a score of 25-20, 25-22, 25-11.
Tomorrow, Qatar SC will play Al Arabi at 5.00pm, while Al Sadd will clash with Al Ahli at 7.00pm.
