51 HEC Paris students visit Qatar as part of school trip exchange programme

Fifty-one full-time students from the “Advanced Master in Large Project Management” program of HEC Paris in France visited Qatar as part of their study trip. Upon their arrival at the HEC Paris premises at Tornado Tower, the students were welcomed by Nora Kerbache, Director of Institutional and Alumni Relations and Professor Laoucine Kerbache, Dean & CEO of HEC Paris in Qatar who provided an insight into the school’s activities and an overview of higher education in Qatar.
During their five-day stay in Qatar, from April 12 to 16, they got to learn more about ongoing projects  through briefings and site visits, as well as the culture, heritage and history of the country through their weekend exposure to various cultural activities.
Among the site projects, this group of students visited Al Wakra Stadium construction site following a presentation by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, Red Line South Metro and Msheireb Doha Downtown Project.
In addition, several keynote speakers shared their insights on the economic history and development of Qatar as well as the opportunities of doing business in the region.
Eric Chevallier, Ambassador of France to Qatar also greeted the students and shared encouraging words with them.
The students had the opportunity to meet with graduates from HEC Paris in Qatar during a networking event.
