Doha: Qatar Meteorology Department has tweeted that there are preliminary indications for chances of scattered rain over the country during weekend.
The blowing dust and northwesterly wind conditions that prevailed during the last weekend had led many to conclude that the winter is over for Qatar.
Last month, MET had quashed rumours spreading on social media about heavy rain and had tweeted to clarify that there was no such forecast from them.
Meanwhile, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report said that the weather today will be slightly dusty to dusty at times and mild day time with some clouds.
