Riyadh, October 17 (QNA) - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdullatif Al-Zayani Saturday strongly condemned the "terrorist" attack that took place Friday in Saihat city, of province of Qatif east of Saudi Arabia, leaving several civilians dead and injured describing the incident as a "terrible crime" that runs counter to all moral and humanitarian values.
In a press statement today, Al-Zayani expressed his trust in the sufficiency of Saudi Arabia's security apparatuses in uncovering the circumstances of this "cowardly and terrorist" act and bringing terrorists and their supporters to justice, affirming GCC countries' support for Saudi Arabia in measures taken to maintain the safety and security of its citizens and residents on its soil.
