A grandiose circus and musical performance, from the collection A Thousand and One Nights is set from July 21 to 23, as part of Qatar Tourism’s “Summer in Qatar”.
The “Aladdin and the Magic Lamp – Cirque Show” live performance will be held at Lusail Multipurpose Hall. The Summer in Qatar campaign is being held in collaboration with Qatar Airways and Ooredoo.
The cirque and musical show will be performed by a crew of around 40 people, with 30 to 35 performers and artistes.
The show is a story of a brave and kind Aladdin and his character that is loved in all parts of the world. The first theatrical performance based on the fairy tale was created in Paris 100 years ago with the participation of the eminent artist and stage designer Lev Bakst.
On July 21, it will have one show at 5pm; July 22, two shows, at 3pm and 7pm, and on July 23, at 1pm and 5pm. Ticket prices are from QR145 to QR545, and children below the age of two do not require tickets. Tickets are available at Tixbox.com, Virgin Megastore and Q-Tickets.com.
Aladdin and the Magic Lamp – Cirque Show is among the three family-friendly entertainment shows happening at Lusail Multipurpose Hall. Alice in Wonderland – Cirque Show was held from July 14 to 16, and The Smurfs – Live on Stage will be from July 28 to 30. The show timings for the last show are: July 28, at 5pm; July 29, at 3pm and 7pm; and July 30, at 1pm and 5pm.
The Summer in Qatar campaign this year is comprised of 15 popular shows and packages.
