#SummerInQatar has never been so colourful as there are many events happening in the country. Mango lovers can head to Regency; movie buffs can go to MIA or art enthusiasts can head to Katara and if none of these interests you then head with your family to QNCC and join Smurfs on their adventure. 

Smurfs live on stage  
Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Brainy Smurf, and the adorable Smurfette will all take to stage for the first time in Doha as they battle Gargamel and save Mother Nature at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) this weekend. The 110-minute show is part of a family-friendly entertainment program organised this Summer in Qatar.

Movie screening night 

If you are a movie buff, then this is your last chance to glimpse one of the best in contemporary Indian cinema in Qatar. Sriram Raghavan's Andhadun will be screened today, tomorrow and day after at Museum of Islamic Art. Tickets are priced at QR35, and students and culture pass by Qatar Museums members can enjoy discounted rates of QR25 per person.

Cricket exhibition 

Celebrating the power of cricket, a photography exhibition of the sport is on at Katara where pictures from Qatar-based photographers have been featured. 43 stunning pictures depicting cricket played in the country shows Qatar's landmarks in the background, focusing further on passion, nostalgia, teamwork and social life around this sport.

Islamic Calligraphy 

Islamic Calligraphy exhibition titled ‘Multaqa Al-Qulub Wal-Funun: A Gathering of Hearts & Crafts” is ongoing at Katara displaying works by seven Indian artists. The Exhibition will display examples of how Arabic Calligraphy is preserved and practised in India and how iconic symbols of Qatar like the dhow, falcon, oryx and horse are celebrated by artists.

Pink Panther (meet and greet)
This weekend #SummerinQatar schedule has included a meet and greet with Pink Panther that will travel across all malls in the next three days. Starting today at Gulf Mall (3:30pm), Lagoona Mall (6pm), and Al Khor Mall (9pm); on July 19 at Tawar Mall (3:30pm), Landmark Mall (6pm) and Doha Festival City (9pm); and then on July 20 at Hyatt Plaza (2:30pm), Al Mirqab Mall (5pm), The Mall (7pm) and Mall of Qatar (9:30pm).

Infinite Dimensions 
55 artworks created by 19 Doha-based artists during their nine-month residency at Doha Fire Station is on at the Garage Gallery. Divided into three sections, each section deals with various themes.
