Things to do on Garangao Night in Qatar

One of the most awaited celebrations during Ramadan is the Garangao night that also marks the completion of the fasting for half of the holy month. The day makes for festivities across the country that sees great turnout by families, especially children. Children dressed in fancy clothes are seen collecting goodies in the neighbourhood or at areas like Katara, which has many activities planned for the night.
Here is a list of celebrations across the country: 

Garangao Night at Katara 
Children dressed up in bright, customary Qatari clothes every year throng for a fun-filled and traditional celebrations that will mark the Garangao night at Katara.
Where: Katara Amphitheatre 
When: May 19, 9pm to 11pm 

Celebrations at DECC Ramadan Market 
There are special activities arranged at Ramadan Market on the occasion of Garangao. Each activity session will last for two hours and includes Garangao-special-mascots, clown balloon twister, free garangao bags (with candies), and complimentary vouchers as giveaways. 
Where: Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre 
When: May 19 and 20; 8:30pm to 10:30pm

Traffic awareness department of the Ministry of Interior is organizing special activities for Garangao at Doha Festival City. The events started on Friday and continue till Monday. The mall is also organising various activities throughout Ramadan.
