DOHA: An Extra Ordinary General Meeting of Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) held here yesterday elected two new members to its board. With this, the total number of the board members of QIIB has reached 11. The new members were elected through a secret ballot. The decision to increase the total number of board members was in line with the new law.
The meeting at Ezdan Towers -3, was chaired by Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani A Al Thani, Chairman and Managing Director of QIIB. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Thani A Al Thani, Vice Chairman and Abdul Basit Ahmed Al Shaibei, CEO also attended the meeting.The Peninsula
