Doha: The Ministry of Public Health has warned against consumption and circulation of a supplement/solution, which is very harmful to health.
The ministry in a statement cautioned public about Miracle Mineral Solution/Supplement that claims to cure several diseases and is traded through social media or imported privately by individuals.
It confirmed that they had received a warning from the World Health Organization against the consumption of this solution and clarified that there is no truth in news about its ability to cure diseases.
The statement pointed out that it could cause serious health hazards as it contains bleached industrial chemicals and consumption of the same could lead to death.
The Ministry of Public Health said that no permission was given to import this product to Qatar, nor has it been registered with competent authorities.
The ministry urged everyone to be cautious about use and import of unreliable food and pharmaceutical products as it could be a huge health risk.
