UPDATE: The Twitter is back in action as 5.35pm in Qatar.
Doha: The social network, Twitter, went offline for users around the world.
It is not clear what happened as of now. But users from around the world were not able to access the social network. Users in Qatar were also reporting an outage of the network.

The website went offline at around 5pm, then came back online for some time and then again went offline.
In the Down Detector website, which tracks services when they go offline, many users from Mumbai to New York were reporting outage.
