Doha: The Ministry of Culture (MoC) will launch today the first events of Seminar Series at the headquarters of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies at the Arab Centre for Research and Policy Studies.
Today’s guest for the event will be as follows: Abdulaziz Al Khater, Ismail Al Nashif and Hassan Al Rumaihi.
The MoC is holding the first-ever Seminar Series in partnership with Qatar University and Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies, and will include eight events. The seminar series is scheduled to take place from March 17 to 31, with the participation of over 30 researchers and professors.
The seminar series aims at disseminating the culture of diversity,giving the societys elites of thinkers, intellectuals and graduates opportunities to enhance the intellectual environment, as the MoC seeks, through this season, to establish an intellectual environment that enhances the role of culture and intellectuals in serving society, highlighting interlocutors and speakers in a number of fields, as well as supporting cultural and intellectual activities.
The MoC also aims at building bridges of communication among generations of intellectuals, increasing rapprochement with the public and institutions to discuss issues that concern them and opening new horizons for creativity.
