Doha: After five successful rounds, which had overseen, heated competition between world champions, the Arab Drag Racing League come to an end at Qatar Racing Club yesterday.
Al-Anabi team was able to achieve the biggest share of victories in many categories after tough challenges through out the entire championship, which saw many world records been broken.
Al-Anabi driver Alex Hossler was able to finally capture the of title Pro-Etreme which was the strongest category in this championship after defeating his American rival driver Frank Taylor in the final race of the fifth and final round, achieving 1593 points.
Driver Mike Kastelana won the Pro Nitrous category.
In the category of Top Sportsman, Emirati driver Khalil Ansari won the title of Season’s Champion with 2,065 points.
In the category of 4.50, Bahraini driver Tariq Tara won the title of Season’s Champion after scoring 1,358 points.
Al-Anabi driver Todd Tatro also won the title of Season’s champion in the category of 10.5, having accumulated 2,363 points.
In the category of 8 Cylinders”, Steve Jackson achieved its title after collecting 1,890 points.
In the category 6 Cylinders Bahraini driver, Mohammed Hajji won the title of Season’s champion after collecting 1,965 points. In the category of Pro Bike US rider Billy won its title after reaping 1,782 points.
In the category of Superstreet Emirati ride Mishari El Turki won the title of Season’s champion after winning 2,214 points.
Kuwaiti rider Misfer Misfer the title of Season’s Champion in the category of Street Bike” after collecting 2,305 points.
UAE driver Mohammed Abdullah won the title of Season’s Champion in the Drugster category after collecting 1,351 points.
