The Go Green, Grow Green promotion will kick off today in Doha’s leading hypermarket chain, Safari — which has always been in the spotlight for introducing different kinds of promotions.
Safari has started this promotion for its customers with the idea of returning to nature and growing with the nature.
The Go Green, Grow Green promotion, which was organised first time last year in Safari received overwhelming public support. Therefore, this time Safari has introduced this promotion in a more comprehensive way.
Safari offers its customers a wide variety of vegetables, fruits and ornamental plant seeds. Seedlings of various varieties of vegetables and fruits ranging from oranges, lemons, papayas, aloe vera, coriander, mint, curry leaves, ornamental plants such as asparagus, anthurium, bonsai plant, cactus, bamboo sticks and many more are available in the promotion.
Customers can also find in the promotion garden pots, grow bags, watering cans, garden benches, grass mats, garden hoses, various garden tools and fertilizers.
Director of Agricultural Affairs Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Yousuf Khalid Al Khulaifi, will inaugurate the function at Safari Mall Abu Hamour today (Wednesday) at 5pm.
The event will be organised by adhering to the government social distancing norms. Chief Coordinator of Safari Group, Shaheen Backer, said, “Our goal for this Go Green, Grow Green promotion is to promote the concept of organic farming and inspire to live in harmony with nature. Besides, it bring the seeds, vegetables and tree saplings to the people at the lowest possible price.” He said the promotion will be available at all Safari outlets from today.
