Manama--The 2015 Formula One season in brief, ahead of this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix:
-- Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton leads the drivers' standings after winning the season-opener in Australia, coming second in Malaysia and winning again in China
-- Sebastian Vettel is second, 13 points behind, after stunning dominant Mercedes to claim his first win for Ferrari in Malaysia, sandwiched between two third place finishes
-- Ferrari gave Mercedes a scare when Vettel won in Malaysia but another superlative one-two in China shows the Silver Arrows are a shoo-in for the drivers' and constructors' championships after only three races
-- Nico Rosberg has the look of a champion when things are going his way, but it's a very different matter when he finds himself behind Mercedes team-mate Hamilton. In China, he snapped at mechanics when Hamilton pipped him for pole and then accused the Briton of deliberately driving slowly and jeopardising Mercedes' one-two finish.
-- Max Verstappen, 17, confounded sceptics as he became F1's youngest driver in Australia -- and then the youngest points-scorer by finishing seventh in Malaysia.
-- Once-mighty McLaren are still waiting for their first point of the season after three races with ex-world champions Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button both failing to finish in Malaysia and then trailing in 12th and 13th in China.
