Splendours of the Ancient East: Antiquities from The al-Sabah Collection
In celebration of the deep-rooted and unique relationship that Qatar shares with Kuwait, Qatar Museums is proud to present Splendours of the Ancient East: Antiquities from The al-Sabah Collection.
The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) will unveil the landmark exhibition, Splendours of the Ancient East: Antiquities from The al-Sabah Collection, in its Temporary Exhibition Gallery. Tickets must be purchased online in advance of your visit.
You will be required to show your EHTERAZ app on entry and to wear your own face mask

When: On until January 3; 9am to 7pm from Saturday to Wednesday, Thursday from 9am to 9pm; and from 1.30pm to 7pm on Friday.
Handicrafts exhibition at Katara
Skilled artisans from eight Arab countries are here in Katara to showcase their indigenous products at the handicrafts exhibition. The 10-day exhibition will feature various stalls where one could see traditional Ethiopian coffee preparation or a Sudanese carpenter making chair from wood and ropes or a Syrian crochet artist at work creating beautiful designs.
Oriental rugs and carpets, traditional national costumes, pottery, native bags and baskets, paintings, gypsum crafts, jewellery, and home display items are among a variety of handicraft on show at the exhibition.
Where: Handicraft Gallery at Building 48
When: Exhibition opens daily from 9am to 12 noon and from 4pm to 10pm; stalls of participating countries open from 4pm to 10pm.
Doha Festival City Art Competition
Doha Festival City announced an exclusive arts competition “Show us your hygiene routine through your art”, dedicated for members of the Festival’s Kids Club. The last day to register for THE contest is October 15. The exclusive competition aims to raise awareness amongst kids about the importance of hygiene measures.

Organised by Qatar National Library, this online session will teach your children valuable life skills at your kitchen table. This free interactive and engaging online session is developed specifically for children ages 5 to 7.
