Doha: Al Khor achieved first victory at the Qatar Handball League after defeating Al Shamal 30-28 on the opening day of the seventh round yesterday.
Al Khor raised its score with this win to 9 points in ninth place, while Al Shamal, which received the seventh loss in a row, remains in in tenth place with 7 points.
In second match that also took place yesterday, Al Sadd defeated Qatar SC 28-30, raising its score to 13 points in sixth place.
The matches of the seventh round will be completed today, with three confrontations between Al Duhail and Al Gharafa, Al Arabi with Al Ahli, and Al Wakrah with Al Rayyan scheduled.
