Doha: The Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Interior organized an introductory meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, for students sent on scholarship to various universities and colleges inside and outside the country.
Major Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al-Ibrahim, Head of Scholarships Section at the Human Resources Department, gave an explanation about the Ministry of Interior Scholarship Program for the year 2020 and its major developments and features.
The level of institutional performance achieved by the Ministry of Interior through extra care given for developing human resources and their professional growth with scholarships in the best local universities and colleges was presented to them.
This reflected positively on the security level, as Qatar achieved advanced positions in security and safety at the global and regional levels. He urged them to make more efforts and strive for excellence, to preserve this legacy.
During the introductory meeting, “Scholarship Services” was launched on the Metrash2 app. The new service will help scholarship-receiving students to the access services related to them through the app and obtain all necessary information as well.
At the end of the meeting, Major General Khalifa Nasr Al-Nasr, Director of the Human Resources Department, honoured the outstanding students who obtained an excellent grade in various disciplines in universities and colleges.
