The Milipol Qatar Exhibition Committee signed yesterday an agreement with Barzan Holdings as a strategic sponsor of the exhibition, and another agreement with Al-Hazm as the diamond sponsor of the exhibition.
The agreements were signed by Major General Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee; Nasser Hassan Al Naimi, President and Executive Board Member of Barzan Holdings; and Mohammed Abdul Karim Al Emadi, CEO of Al-Hazm.
The two agreements were signed at the Officers Club of the General Directorate of Civil Defense on the sidelines of the press conference announcing the launch of the 13th edition of the International Exhibition for Internal Security and Civil Defense (Milipol Qatar 2021 Exhibition). The Milipol Exhibition will be held from March 15 to 17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
“Our cooperation with Barzan Holdings as a strategic sponsor of the exhibition and the Al Hazm as a diamond sponsor of the exhibition aims to highlight Qatar’s firm commitment to this event, which addresses the challenges and anticipated features of the future,” said Major General Nasser bin Fahd Al Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee.
The Chairman of the Committee also said that Milipol Qatar 2021 Exhibition will continue its distinguished career as a pioneering event that brings together the most prominent internal security and civil defence experts in the world to help confront current and future security issues in the region.
Nasser Hassan Al Nuaimi said: “We are happy to sign the strategic partnership agreement with Milipol for the second time. Barzan, along with its projects, partners and subsidiaries, contributes to the realisation of the vision of His Highness for 2030, developing infrastructure, building capabilities and acquiring knowledge that enhances Qatar’s sovereign capabilities.
“We join hands and cooperate together to achieve these goals and build a prosperous future for our country,” he noted.
From Al-Hazm, Mohammed Abdul Karim Al Emadi, affirmed their support to contribute to the success of the current edition of the exhibition, which has become a leading international destination in the region in the areas of internal security and civil defense.
Al-Hazm believes that supporting internal security is a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts by the government and private sectors to enhance the stability and security enjoyed by the State of Qatar, he said, while commenting on the agreement.
