Doha: Qatar will take on Koninklige Hockey Club Leuvan of Belgium in a two-match series at the Rayyan Hockey Ground, Qatar Hockey Association said here yesterday.
The Qatar national team which is preparing for the March 15 to 25 Asian Games qualifiers in Bangladesh will play against the Belgium club on January 15 and 22. Both matches will begin at 4pm.
The Koninklige Hockey Club is among the top hockey clubs of Europe. The team comprising several internationals from Belgium, Spain and France are in Doha on the invitation of Aspetar. The team is coached by the renowned Dutch coach Norbert Nederlof.
