Doha: Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum has announced it is presenting special Qatar National Day programmes for people to enjoy this valuable occasion with family and friends.
The programmes comprise activities in which visitors can learn more about the history of Qatar and the rich culture of Qatari people through marvelous collections, rare artifacts, and art pieces showcased at FBQ Museum that tell stories about the history of Qatar from the past and up to the present.
FBQ Museum is organising tours of its Qatari Heritage Section on December 18 from 3pm to 5pm and on December 19 from 10.30am to 12 noon and from 3pm to 5pm.
In addition, visitors can have Arabic calligraphy souvenir by the museum’s calligrapher and photo opportunity in a traditional Qatari majlis setting during regular museum hours.
From December 18 until January 2, the museum will run Qatari Art Exhibition at The White Majlis in which exceptional Qatari art and artifact selections from FBQ Museum will be showcased during regular museum hours.
