Doha: The Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), an apex bodies under the aegis of Indian Embassy, will offer consular services at its office in Thumama.
Indian expats can now apply for fresh passport for new-born and passport renewal for child and adult at their office.
Applicants are expected to book an appointment through the link getappointment.icbfqatar.org. The link is not live yet as we file this report. According to ICBF officials it will go live anytime soon.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, walk-ins will not be allowed and only those with Green code of Etheraz App will be permitted.
Social distancing protocols will have to be followed in the premises, a statement added.
Services are available at Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), which is temporarily closed and is expected to open soon. The pending application from ICC is now processed at the ICBF premises.
Once open, both ICC and ICBF will offer consular services in addition to Indian Embassy. This will offer more choices for the applicants and will also help avoid big crowd at one place,” an ICBF official said.
ICBF office is located at Integrated Indian Community Center in Villa No 47 at Nuaija.
