Doha: The Ministry of Culture has announced the suspension of activities and programmes of the Al Baraha event.
In a statement on Twitter, the Ministry said: "The Ministry of Culture announces the suspension of the activities and programs of the Al Baraha event to mourn the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates."
In an announcement by the Amiri Diwan recently, the Amir also ordered three days of mourning in the state and the flags to be lowered to half-staff.
