The 60th School Holy Quran Contest is being organised by the Department of Religious Call and Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The competition aims to preserve the Book of God in the hearts of generations, and to pay attention to the Arabic language because it is the language of the Holy Quran, while sharpening the enthusiasm of students to compete in the most honourable field of knowledge, which is the Book of God Almighty.

The purpose of the contest is raising generations imbued with the morals of the noble Quran who follow the example of the prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, “whose character was the Quran,” and raising generations to love the Book of God and to have the Qur’an alive in their hearts, and then reflect on it and act upon its guidance and rulings.
