Abu Dhabi: Qatar Petroleum is participating in the 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec), which is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre until Wednesday, November 14. The exhibition includes major oil and gas companies from all over the world, including many national companies and support services companies.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, inaugurated the four-day exhibition and conference. He was accompanied by Mohammed bin Thaen Al Hamli, Minister of Energy of the UAE, and a number of senior officials.
Sheikh Hazza visited the QP stand, where he was warmly received by members of the QP delegation, who presented him with a memento and explained to him QP’s ongoing projects and future expansion plans.
QP is participating in the exhibition with its Industrial Cities Affairs Department and the QP stand showcases the projects and achievements of Mesaieed and Ras Laffan, which are the company’s key operating areas.
The exhibition, which is held with the support of the UAE Ministry of Energy and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has attracted the participation of more than 1,500 exhibitors from 40 countries worldwide. The exhibition is expected to attract over 45,000 visitors over the next four days.
