Doha: Qatar Museums will hold a guided tour next Monday and Wednesday under the title of “The Discovery of Black Gold and its Impact on Life in Qatar” at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).
Participants at the tour will be educated about the positive impacts of oil and gas discovery in Qatar as it contributed to the progress in the country in various cultural, economic and political sectors.
Qatar Museums will also hold next Friday and Saturday Interactive Sound Art workshop at NMoQ’s Education Studio led by artist Guillaume Rousere.
During the workshop, participants will listen to, record and edit various voices about Qatar in a bid to construct a better understanding of their environments and surroundings depending on active listening, concentration and attentiveness.
