The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani crowns Al Arabi as Amir Cup 2023 champions on May 12, 2023 at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended on Friday evening, May 12, the 51st edition of the Amir Cup final match between Al Sadd and Al Arabi at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium.
HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Personal Representative of HH the Amir; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani; HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdulla Al Ghanim and a number of Their Excellencies sheikhs; ministers and senior officials attended the match.
The final was also attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino; President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) HE Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa a number of heads of Arab and international sports associations, a number of Their Excellencies members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the State of Qatar, and football fans.
Al Arabi won the match against Al Sadd 3-0.
After the match, HH the Amir handed the trophy and gold medals to the Al Arabi team, and the silver medals to the Al Sadd team.
