With the participation of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, the QOC Secretary-General Jassim Rashid Al Buainain, QOC’s directors of Departments and employees, curtains have come down on the QOC Ramadan Beach Volleyball Tournament at the Lusail Shooting Range.
In the event’s closing scene on Sunday, Al Shaqab team defeated Secretariat General team 2-0 in the final game to win the title, while Al Sadd team finished third , flowing its convincing 2-0 victory over support services sector team in the battle for the third place. QOC organises the Ramadan sport events annually in an effort to enhance the social relations between its employees and promoting the 'Sport For All' idea.
The tournament was held on the sidelines of the Nishan Vodafone Tournament and Festival 2022.
Nishan Vodafone Tournament and Festival 2022 as a major community event this Ramadan aims to discover the most talented elements in sport, develop their skills and promote sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the event rises sharply year by year.
