Doha: Qatar men’s beach handball team defeated Republic of Korea 2-0 in the beginning of their campaign at the 9th Asian Men’s Beach Handball Championships.
The event is held in Bali, Indonesia from 10 to 19 March 2023 and serves as a qualification tournament for the 2024 IHF Men’s and Women’s Beach Handball World Championships.
The Qatari team find themselves in Group A, facing Iran, Philippines, Republic of Korea and Saudi Arabia while Group (B) includes Indonesia, Vietnam, Oman, Hong Kong, Kuwait and China.
