Doha: Doha Metro has suspended service for the weekend as a precautionary measure.
In a statement put out on social media, Doha Metro said the preview service will stop tonight from 10 pm (Thursday) for two days.
“In view of precautionary measures taken in the country, it has been determined that the Doha Metro preview service will be suspended from Thursday 12 March 2020 at 22:00,” Doha Metro said.
“The metro service will recommence from Sunday, March 15, 2020, 06:00,” they added.
After 238 coronavirus cases were reported yesterday, many public and private organisations have announced precautionary measures to reduce the spread of the virus.
