Doha: The Ministry of Municipal and Environmental Affairs said that 352 public hygiene violations were recorded last month.

The ministry said on its website that 32 cases were referred to security authorities for further action. The relevant department of the ministry also removed 566 abandoned vehicles.

Regarding the number of complaints, an official said that it received 44 complaints.

Meanwhile, the Natural Reserve Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment has withdrawn licenses from 20 camps in Aradh beach area for violating basic conditions of camping season.

Saleh Hasan Al Kuwari, Director of the Natural Reserve Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, said that the conditions for license prevent renting out the camp or granting permission to a person who is not licensed by the Ministry, reported Arabic daily Al-Sharq.

He also explained that these violations require withdrawal of license from the violators, removing the camps and transferring the case to legal authorities in the state.

Al Kuwari added that there were cases where people who are not licensed benefit from these camps while the real owners are not in the country, which is against the conditions of camping.
