Doha: Two members of the famous K-Pop girl band, Girls' Generation (SNSD), are in Qatar.
The two stars, Hyoyeon and Sunny, shared on their respective Instagram accounts, some photos they've snapped at The Pearl on Monday, with the hashtag #VisitQatar
Hyoyeon, in an Instagram story, has also shared more clips of places in Qatar such as sceneries at the Amiri Diwan and Souq Waqif.
The photos received warm welcome from SONEs, the official fandom name of the group, and messages of "Welcome to Qatar" poured in the comment sections of their post. Some fans also suggested places for the two K-Pop stars to visit, namely Msheireb and Souq. On the other hand, some are also curious as to why the stars are in Doha, with some speculating that filming for a Korean TV show is in the works.
To date, there is no confirmation for the stars' visit to the country.
