Doha, Qatar: In alignment with Qatar University’s (QU) strategic goals to distinguish its graduates and enhance their research and scientific skills, the Qatar University Young Scientists Centre (QUYSC) proudly announced Sarah Abu Al Ela’s selection to present her research at the Saudi International Pharmaceutical Sciences Conference (SIPHA) 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This opportunity comes after Sarah secured first place in the second cycle of the National Science and Research Promotion Program (NSPP), a prestigious initiative supported by QUYSC in collaboration with the Office of Research Support (Grants and Contracts).

Established in December 2020, NSPP serves as a cornerstone program that introduces high school and undergraduate students to research and innovation with the goal of enhancing their creative and leadership skills.

The NSPP plays a vital role in supporting and empowering youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), enriching young people’s scientific research skills, and preparing them to become a highly skilled workforce in the future to contribute to Qatar’s scientific renaissance.
