Doha: Cultural Village Foundation, Katara yesterday opened 3rd Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman, which will continue until February 13 with the participation of a number of Arab and foreign countries, in addition to international associations and bodies specialised in Kahraman.
The exhibition has 50 pavilions and display platforms, most notably the pavilion of Sheikh Talal bin Khalifa Al Abdulrahman Al Thani’s collections, which includes a large assortment of Kahraman beads from different sources and colours, and includes more than 1,300 Kahraman beads of the finest and rarest types.
On this participation, Sheikh Talal bin Khalifa Al Abdulrahman Al Thani highlighted the importance of the exhibition, which represents a distinct showcase for Qatar in this field reflecting interest in this precious stone and its social and cultural value.
He explained that his participation shows his admiration for the exhibition and his support for the efforts of the organisers and for Qatar to be at the forefront of countries in this field.
The Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman is the first of its kind in Qatar and the biggest in the Middle East, reaching the level of international exhibitions.
