Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) participated in the seventh session of the Qatar-Iraq Joint Committee for Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation.
The session was organized and chaired by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry under the patronage and attendance of Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qasim Al Thani, from July 7-8, 2024, in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. Khaled Al Kubaisi, a legal expert at the International Cooperation Department, represented the Ministry of Education and Higher Education at the meeting alongside representatives from other participating ministries and government entities.
During the meeting, the Qatar-Iraq Joint Committee discussed aspects of cooperation in education, higher education, and scientific research and ways to support and enhance them between the two brotherly countries, in addition to other areas of collaboration.
