Doha: MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education (Savitribai Phule Pune University, Qatar Campus) and Lulu Hypermarket have signed an MoU for a strategic collaboration to support student placements and career growth.
The MoU was signed on May 4 at Lulu Hypermarket’s regional office in Qatar.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Yasir Nainar, Vice President of MIE-SPPU, and Shaijan M O, Regional Director of Lulu Hypermarket, Qatar Region. Also present were Bimalendu B Nath, Director of MIE-SPPU; Dinesh Bakshi, Head of Operations of MIE-SPPU; Shanavas P.M., Regional Manager of Lulu Hypermarket, Qatar Region, and other officials.
Shaijan M O, Regional Director of Lulu Hypermarket, expressed his delight in partnering with MIE-SPPU for this strategic collaboration. He said, “Lulu Hypermarket is committed to supporting the development of the youth of Qatar. With this MoU, we will be able to offer new and exciting opportunities to MIE-SPPU students, enabling them to realize their full potential.”

Under the terms of the MoU, Lulu Hypermarket will provide internships, job placements, and career guidance to MIE-SPPU students. This collaboration is a significant step towards MIE-SPPU’s commitment to providing its students with quality education and a comprehensive career development programme.
