Doha: Al Arabi and Al Ahli yesterday clinched victories in the 2020-2021 Qatar Beach Volleyball Championship organised by Qatar Volleyball Association.
Al Arabi beat Al Rayyan by two clean sets raising his score to 15 points in third place while Al Rayaan remain in sixth place with six points. In the second match, Al Ahli won 2-1 against Al Wakrah to raise their points tally to five as they remained in the last position despite the victory. Al Wakrah remains in the penultimate position.
Al Gharafa, Al Sadd, Al Shamal Al Khor and Qatar SC are also taking part in the tournament which is being held in accordance with the health precautionary measures related to COVID-19.
