Doha: Three new books have been recently released by the Publications and Translation Department at the Ministry of Culture.
The books “The Qatari, Champion of Asia” by writer Jalil Al Aboudi, “The Qatari Song, Selected Trends”, by writer and novelist Dr. Ahmed Abdul Malik, and the book “On the Destiny of the People of Determination”, were launched by HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Minister of State and President of Qatar National Library.
Mohammed Al Kuwari, Director of Publications and Translation at the Ministry of Culture, explained that the department seeks to translate these books into other languages, and in addition to paper publication, readers can browse the books through the website.
The book, “The Qatari: Asian Champion”, deals in 126 pages with the achievements of the Qatari national football team in the Asian Championship, its victory and obtaining its title. The book includes the stages of preparing the team for this tournament, and then the qualifiers, and the final.
