Doha: As the nation come together to celebrate National Sports Day, companies have also lined up special offers and activities to make this event memorable for residents and expatriates.
Hotels, retailers, tour and travel companies have announced offers and promotions to celebrate National Sports Day.
Major Retailers like Lulu, Safari, Family Food Centre have launched special promotions for sports items, apparels, food and beverages. Hotels and resorts are offering complimentary access to their various activities and facilities such as gyms, pools, fitness classes, on this day.
Al Messila- A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa will be hosting Open Day on Qatar National Day. “We will be hosting an Open Day, with full access to our spa & fitness facilities at no cost,” Giulia Mundula, Director of Marketing, Al Messila- A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Doha told The Peninsula. “The facilities included in this open day will be gyms at Ladies Wellness Retreat (ladies only) and Health Center; Indoor pool with hot & cold tubs; Therapy Pools (ladies only); outdoor jogging paths; outdoor bootcamp stations; squash courts; Padel courts and Little Explorers Kids Club (age 5 – 12 years old),” she added.
Tour and travel companies are organising special tours which are specially designed for National Sports Day.
In celebration of the Qatar National Sport Day, Qatar Airways is offering up to 35 per cent off on all-inclusive Premium and Economy Class fares to more than 140 destinations worldwide and a chance to win great prizes.
Qatar Airways said that it is offering more than 100 lucky passengers a chance to win one of the following great prizes which includes two tickets for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 opening match, two tickets on Economy Class to their favourite sport destination within Qatar Airways network and a gym membership.
