DOHA: The North Gate project, currently under construction and represented by local Qatari company “Equinox SPC”, has won the “Best Retail Architecture 2012 in Arabia” award.
The award comes as part of the Arabian & African property summit activities held recently in Dubai, which was attended by the region’s most prestigious property developers and industry professionals. The Arabian Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards and its award winners’ logo is recognized as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry.
CEO and owner of Equinox expressed his great pleasure on winning the prestigious award. The award was a testament to the level of detail and planning invested in the project and the ability of the project to compete with the best retail developments in the region, he noted:

North Gate is located on a 200,000m2 plot, about 10km north of Doha city on the main arterial Al Shamal North Gate is positioned to benefit from development in Doha’s strong northern population growth corridor and represents one of the only commercial developments within the area. It offers an area close to 100,000m2 of leasable space for retail and a further 45,000m2 for offices.
