Doha, Qatar: South Korea edged Iraq 1-0 in their final friendly before the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which gets underway on January 12.

Following the victory, South Korea will enter the Asian Cup with a six-match winning streak.

The Jurgen Klinsmann-side, which is holding a training camp in Abu Dhabi, is scheduled to arrive in Doha on Wednesday. They will start their Group E campaign against Bahrain on January 15 while Iraq will play their Group D opener against Indonesia the same day.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan arrived in Doha yesterday to participate in the Asian Cup. Kyrgyzstan are in Group F alongside Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Thailand.
