Doha, Qatar: The Indonesian national football team arrived in Doha to participate in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
This is the fifth participation of Indonesia in the tournament and now aspire to shine with a distinguished presence with an ambition to overtake the groups league and attain the elimination rounds.

The Libyan team defeated Indonesia 2-1 in the second friendly held Friday in Antalya city of Turkiye ahead of competing in AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
During the previous participation in the continental finals, Indonesian team were knocked out in the first round, but in the edition that was hosted by Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam in 2007, the team succeeded in repeating their second victory in the history of AFC Asian Cup. The team will play in Group D that includes Japan, Iraq, and Vietnam.
