DOHA: Qatar teams A and B were yesterday split into different groups when the draw for the 22nd Arab Beach Volleyball Championship were conducted.
Qatar A have been placed with Oman A, Palestine B and Libya A in Group A, it was announced yesterday.
Qatar B is in Group D with Lebanon B and Palestine A.
In Group B, Bahrain A are with Libya B and Lebanon A.
In Group C, Bahrain B are with Oman B and Yemen.
The four-day event takes place at the Volleyball Arena outside Al Gharafa Stadium today.
Seven countries are featuring in the event. Except Yemen, all entries are fielding two teams each. THE PENINSULA
