Doha - The State of Qatar expressed its condemnation of the detention of an Emirati ship off the coast of Al Hudaydah Governorate, west of the Republic of Yemen, and called for the immediate release of the ship and its crew.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Qatar's complete rejection of actions that would impede the movement of ships and tankers and the freedom of international navigation.
The statement stressed the need to adhere to international conventions and laws regulating navigation around the world.
