DOHA: Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani affirmed that the strong turnout in the referendum on the draft constitutional amendments to the permanent constitution of Qatar reflects the unique bond between the Qatari people and their leader, and underscores a deep-rooted commitment to national solidarity, social cohesion, and steadfast adherence to cherished values and enduring national principles.
In his statement on the occasion, he said that the active participation in the vote on the constitutional amendments demonstrates a high level of national awareness of the importance of these amendments in reinforcing principles of Shura, bolstering national unity, promoting comprehensive development, and fostering economic and social stability, all of which contribute to the ongoing progress and prosperity in the state.
