The participants during the “Strategic Partnerships between Government Institutions” programme organised by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
DOHA: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs yesterday started the “Strategic Partnerships between Government Institutions” programme with the participation of 40 trainees from 13 ministries.
“The aim of this training programme is to exchange experiences and strategic partnership between government entities, and the main goal, which all these entities share, is to achieve Qatar vision 2030. Holding such programmes and workshops will help us to achieve this vision,” said the Human Resources Department Director at the Ministry, Mohamed bin Hassan Al Malki.
The programme will continue until Thursday at the Millennium Plaza Hotel.
It also came in the framework of the ministry’s external training programmes in partnership with the ministries and institutions of the State.
The strategic partnership programme includes training officials, public relations and media officials in various ministries of the state (Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and Ministry of Public Health among others.
The strategic partnerships between various state institutions are an important factor in the success and overcoming the challenges through cooperation and coordination with each other to carry out a specific project with a common competency and interest.
Dr Mohammed Khalifa Al Kubaisi, Head of Training Section at the ministry, said, “The programme is organised and supported by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to enhance the strategic partnership between governmental entities because we need such things to increase cooperation between all these entities”.
The ministry has achieved many success in this regard through partnership with many intuitions.
He also said that the programme is comprehensive and include what the participants need from experiences and skills, adding that he hopes the outcomes will contributes of achieving the goals.
Among other goals of the programme is to discuss the challenges which institutions face and the phases of developing strategic partnership.
