1. Camping in the desert

If you are looking for a memorable, serene getaway, to escape the blinding lights and noises of the city, then you must try desert camping. Qatar’s deserts allow you to see and enjoy an unknown sensational side of the country. The combination of the sight of the dazzling clear skies of Qatar, delicately enhanced by the shining stars, with the cool winter breeze is the perfect soul food you need. Camping season usually starts from mid-October until late February. The country offers you the choice of two types of camping; private camping for those who wish for a prepared trip, and individual camping for camping enthusiasts.

Individuals who wish to independently camp can camp in one of the many public campsites and must bring camping gear which can be found in hypermarkets or specialized stores.
