Doha: The Services and the Public Utilities Committee of the Shura Council held yesterday a meeting headed by Chairman of the Committee H E Ali bin Saeed Al Khayarin, in the presence of Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council H E Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti.
During the meeting, the committee discussed Law No. 2 of 2007 on the housing system in the presence of President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau H E Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa.
The president responded to the questions and inquiries of the committee members about the aforementioned law and the controls for the use of housing in accordance with the law.
At the end of the meeting, the committee decided to invite officials from the Ministry of Social Development and Family to complete the discussions and clarify some points about Law No. 2 of 2007 on the housing system related to the work of the ministry.
